Tune Protect Group in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst to support month-end closing, conduct financial analysis, and ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance. The position involves assisting in the preparation of Group consolidation reports and annual financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting; experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP/BI systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in timely closing monthly accounts, including data extractions and analysis, journal postings and preparation of reports.
• Assist in preparation of the Group consolidation report and related schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing and providing audit-related information and supporting documents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in continuous improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation.
• Utilize SAP/BI tools to generate insightful reporting and business analytics.
• Participate and assist in preparation and execution of regulatory projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning and execution of regulatory projects.
• Attend any ad-hoc assignments that may be required from time to time.
