Join a leading company in Digital Transformation as a Financial Analyst in Kuala Lumpur. You will support budget management, perform extensive financial analysis, and ensure timely financial reporting. Bring your expertise in finance, along with collaborative skills to thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support and manage the compilation and analysis of annual budget, board presentations, fi-nancial models and other monthly and yearly management reports
• Responsible for providing detailed analysis and commentary of the performance of respective Business Units involving financial and management reporting as well as utilization reporting.
• Tracks and reports on weekly utilization report – investigate incorrect entries, project utiliza-tion level and clarify on any transactions with Business Unit Leads if needed.
• Prepare monthly financial reports in accordance to corporate requirements and ensure all monthly financial/management reporting timelines are met.
• Organize and perform month end closing activities– ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of financial input, as well as relevant supporting documents
• Support and monitor the KPI calculation for consultants with regards to utilization and hours charged to timesheet system
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports
• To drive and deliver performance and process improvement/automation initiatives
• Other ad-hoc finance assignments and analysis requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, plus a minimum of 6 to 9 years of accounting/ financial analysis experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of financial planning and business controls, includ-ing SAP accounting system plus analytical skillset.
• Must have high proficiency in MS office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exhibit strong collaboration skills, initiative and proactiveness to build good rapport cross teams as well as within the team
• Hands on Power BI experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and independently work in a challenging fast paced environment
• Good analytical, written and verbal communication, creative problem solving skills.
• Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with various stakeholders.
