Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the maintenance and operations of Sunsuria Retail Forum to ensure everything is ready for use.
• Work with subcontractors, vendors, and service providers to maintain safety and meet legal requirements for equipment, security, car parks, cleaning, and handyman services.
• Resolve maintenance issues with clients, contractors, and tenants.
• Monitor service providers and tenants to ensure quality and compliance.
• Create checklists for building maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
• Track inventory and manage repairs and replacements.
• Prepare monthly billing for tenant electricity and water usage.
• Help schedule staff shifts for operations.
• Supervise contractors, cleaners, and security to ensure work is completed on time and meets standards.
• Plan and track preventive maintenance, including certification renewals.
• Assist in obtaining quotes, evaluating proposals, and issuing work orders.
• Ensure reports are accurate and complete.
• Support other departments when needed.
• Maintain and control inventory.
• Help monitor operational and capital budgets, including tracking expenses.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu; knowledge of Chinese or Tamil is a plus.
• Understanding of regulations and statutory requirements pertaining to building maintenance (e.g., Building By-Laws, Building and Common Property Act, Strata Title Act, etc.).
• Service-oriented with effective interpersonal skills.
