Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the maintenance and operations of Sunsuria Retail Forum to ensure everything is ready for use.
- Work with subcontractors, vendors, and service providers to maintain safety and meet legal requirements for equipment, security, car parks, cleaning, and handyman services.
- Resolve maintenance issues with clients, contractors, and tenants.
- Monitor service providers and tenants to ensure quality and compliance.
- Create checklists for building maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
- Track inventory and manage repairs and replacements.
- Prepare monthly billing for tenant electricity and water usage.
- Help schedule staff shifts for operations.
- Supervise contractors, cleaners, and security to ensure work is completed on time and meets standards.
- Plan and track preventive maintenance, including certification renewals.
- Assist in obtaining quotes, evaluating proposals, and issuing work orders.
- Ensure reports are accurate and complete.
- Support other departments when needed.
- Maintain and control inventory.
- Help monitor operational and capital budgets, including tracking expenses.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu; knowledge of Chinese or Tamil is a plus.
- Understanding of regulations and statutory requirements pertaining to building maintenance (e.g., Building By-Laws, Building and Common Property Act, Strata Title Act, etc.).
- Service-oriented with effective interpersonal skills.
