Job summary

Terberg Manufacturing & Assembly Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Executive, Engineering in Pasir Gudang to lead fabrication activities, ensuring engineering compliance, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires interpreting fabrication drawings and leveraging CAD tools for supplier data.

You will prepare and release fabrication and welding drawings, coordinate with production planning, purchasing and QA, and perform supplier site visits to monitor progress and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in machinery manufacturing, metal fabrication, welding or steel structure industries.
• Experience in automotive or heavy vehicle manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical focal point for internal and outsourced fabrication activities, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements, product quality, dimensional accuracy and delivery schedules.
• Proficient in interpreting fabrication drawings; working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software is an advantage.
• Prepare, review and release fabrication drawings, welding drawings, manufacturing documents and engineering data for suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, Quality Assurance and external suppliers to ensure fabrication schedules are achieved.
• Conduct supplier site visits for fabrication progress monitoring and recommendation to ensure quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support Engineering Change Notice (ECN), drawing revisions and document control to ensure suppliers always manufacture using the latest engineering data.
