Senior Executive - Demand & Supply Planning

POSITION SUMMARY
In Shiseido’s Demand and Supply Planning, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the Company's Supply Chain Management operations. Your primary responsibility involves forecasting demand, developing supply plans, and ensuring efficient inventory management. You will collaborate closely with cross-department and functional teams, regional stakeholders, and global stakeholders in the end-to-end supply chain process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand and Supply Planning
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing team to create and update sales forecast based on promotional activities, market shifts and new product launches.
• Model the statistical forecast, maintain demand parameters and maintain purchase plan in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool.
• Consolidate root cause analysis on forecast accuracy with Marketing and Sales team, track improvement action plans and track improvement progress.
• Consolidate feedback from Sales, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams on forecast deviations (campaigns, new launches, BOM, etc.).
• Track new launches and POSM.
• Participate in supply reviews and work closely with regional stakeholders to secure and recover inventory level.
• Maintain healthy inventory level, monitor and alert OOS situations, and contribute to recovery strategies.

Inventory Management
• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock across all distribution points and warehouse.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify action plan with Marketing and Sales on Excess and Obsolete (E&O).
• Prepare and analyse inventory closing, inventory provision and inventory KPI reports.
• Report stock aging and follow up action plan with sales team.

Others
• Prepare and involve in Business Review discussions on demand forecast, supply performance and inventory holding status.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of item master.
• Participate and contribute to the joint forecast review with Sales team, Brand team and Key Customers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, statistical science, or in related field is preferable.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience and strong understanding of supply and demand forecasting.
• Strong experience in driving S&OP process.
• Knowledgeable in forecasting tools (IBP) and SAP.
• Proficient in data analysis, with ability to mine and interpret data.
• Good presentation and strong communication skills.
• Embrace challenges, with demonstration of strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
