Job Description

Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.) with 4-5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance or related fields.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Understanding of individual role within the team and the impact of IT on overall process outcomes.
  • Provide daily guidance and support to team members.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices, and internal policies.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and other business/accounting tools.
  • Good command of Word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Business Units and customers.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry or relevant job role is highly preferred.
  • Verify distribution of Accountable Documents according to Malaysia Airlines' Document Policy.
  • Engage in strategic and process improvement initiatives, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings or conference calls with Business Units, debtors, and internal/external units to resolve issues.
  • Review and analyze monthly Accounts Receivables (AR) reports promptly.
  • Ensure proper approval and maintenance of AR master data in accordance with Group Credit Collection Policy.
  • Monitor SOP compliance for each Credit Management unit.
  • Supervise and support team staff, including coaching and problem-solving guidance.
  • Address audit issues and ensure timely closure of audit gaps.
