POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

The Corporate Planning (CP) team primarily drives and supports the formulation of Malaysia Airports' long-term or annual strategy as well as in any strategic assignments that contribute towards new growth opportunities, improvements in business processes and / or enhancement in business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Executive within Corporate Planning, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Play a leading and /or supportive role in the formulation of Malaysia Airports' long-term / annual strategy and the operationalisation of the annual enterprise strategic planning process, including planning and execution; undertaking research on industry trends, data analysis, internal and external environment analysis and collaborating with Business Units, Divisions and Subsidiaries within Malaysia Airports;
• Provide timely updates of the Business Plan and Budget to Management and / orto the Board of Directors;
• Provide support in strategic and value-creating initiatives by working with other Business Units, Divisions and Subsidiaries to identify new growth opportunities, improve organisational processes and enhance business performance, involving testing hypothesis, strategic analysis, developing conceptual frameworks, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and recommending strategic actions;
• Support Senior Manager and / or Manager to deliver strategic insights and support effective decision making for Senior Management;
• Undertake high-quality research and analysis (including ad hoc projects), develop storyboards and compelling narratives to assist Manager, Senior Manager or Senior Management in preparing presentations, reports, Board papers etc;
• Support in the planning and running of Strategy-related events such as Town Halls, Management Retreats, Board Strategic Planning Sessions and others; and
• Support and collaborate with Business Units to create strategic documents for external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Experience and general understanding of the aviation industry would be another added advantage
• Strong conceptual, numeracy, analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesise data and information to logically structure complex problems and derive insights
• Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with individuals across all levels of the organisation, including Senior Management and other Business Units
• Good understanding of business principles and financial analysis
• A highly driven, motivated, independent, resourceful and adaptable personality who enjoys working as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong proficiency in paper-writing / presentation tools and spreadsheet / data analytics tools (e.g. G Suites, Microsoft Office and any other digital tools that aid work)
• Aware of emerging technologies and how they can be used to improve strategic planning and execution.

Education

• Degree in Economics, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Management, International Business, Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree would be an added advantage

Relevant Industries

• Minimum 3 years working experience in corporate planning / finance / business development or relevant fields are an added advantage
