Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • To manage, develop and implement effective corporate communications internally and externally to achieve the company’s objectives.
  • To create company literature and revise all forms of communication which includes copywriting, proofreading, information sourcing and verification.
  • Liaise with various media channels on corporate communications including proactive issuing of press releases and management of all press enquiries.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends, and conduct extensive media outreach.
  • To prepare and generate periodic reports on all marketing and communication activities.
  • Source for content, publish periodic newsletters, annual report, and corporate publications as well as manage the internal town hall.
  • Update and manage social media channels, intranet and other communication platforms, as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must have excellent command of written English. Detailed-oriented.
  • Ideally, a minimum 2 years of working experience in corporate communication and branding, marketing, event or similar position.
  • Flexible approach to adapt, overcome and succeed within the scope of the job responsibilities.
  • Works as part of the team as well as trustworthy and reliable to work independently with minimal supervision and own initiative.
  • Good working attitude, able to work beyond regular working hours if required in meeting timelines and objectives and deliver under tight schedule.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Working location: Kepong Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

Education Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Business Administration or Management or any other equivalent qualifications.
