Responsible for producing communications content to inform, engage, and promote MCMC initiatives, to ensure consistent messaging and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Content Development
Major Activities
- Create written materials such as speeches, press releases, and media responses to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
- Translate content between Bahasa Malaysia and English to support bilingual communication needs.
- Contribute articles to local and regional publications to raise awareness on industry trends and MCMC's role.
Outcomes
- Enhanced public perception and awareness of organizational initiatives and the role of MCMC.
- Strengthened bilingual communication, ensuring accessibility and reach across different linguistic communities.
Collaborative Communication
Major Activities
- Develop communication strategies in collaboration with internal departments to support organisational initiatives and branding.
- Provide guidance on messaging for key initiatives to ensure alignment with organisational goals, brand voice, and target audiences.
Outcome
- Consistent and cohesive messaging across all departments, leading to enhanced alignment with organisational objectives and improved brand identity.
- Streamlined communication processes that reduce ambiguity and increase efficiency in delivering key messages both internally and externally.
Stakeholder Engagement
Major Activities
- Manage speaking engagements for top management to enhance public visibility and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist in media monitoring and engagements including interviews and briefings to manage public perception and media relations.
Outcome
- Increased public visibility for top management, positioning them as thought leaders and strengthening stakeholder trust and engagement.
- Improved media relations, leading to more favourable coverage and a positive public perception of the organisation.
Project Management
Major Activities
- Project lead, plan, and execute to achieve project goals as assigned by Head of CIRD.
- The project encompasses working on communications plans, intelligence/information compilation, tasks or/and events, by using MCMC's established principles, procedures and policies to lead a project from conception through completion.
Outcome
- Effective planning, leadership, and execution will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the specified goals set by the Head of Department.
- By adhering to MCMC's established principles, procedures, and policies, the project will be in full alignmentwith organisational standards, ensuring consistency and compliance throughout its lifecycle.
Qualification and Work Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Master's degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in communications, writing, and public relations would be an added advantage.
- Experience in writing press releases, negotiating with the media, and engaging with the media and public.
Candidate must be willing to work in MCMC HQ, Cyberjaya.
