Job summary

Job Responsibilities
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC on implementation of Compliance Programs and its related activities to prevent improper conduct or non-compliances.
- To assist Manager of Compliance in keeping HOC, Senior Management and Board informed of non-compliance incidents/issues through the submission of Compliance Reports.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC in providing training, guidance and supervision to staff to enable staff to carry out their duties effectively.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC to ensure new updates of Regulatory or Statutory requirements are complied with and implemented on a timely basis by the respective departments.
- To assist Manager of Compliance to track all audit findings and completion of recommendations related to Compliance reported by BNM, external and internal auditors.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC in attending queries on compliance matters.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC to monitor, and as necessary, coordinates compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC on compliance monitoring via monitoring systems for detection of money laundering and suspicious activities.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC to provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
- To assist Manager of Compliance and/or HOC to review, revise and update to ensure relevancy of compliance policies and procedures.
- Assume responsibility of other relevant tasks as assigned by Manager of Compliance and/or Head of Compliance from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Law / Banking / Finance or equivalent field
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in Compliance related field, preferably in Audit or Compliance area
- Conversant with compliance management and a general knowledge on legislation, rules and regulations
