Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

  • To plan, execute and optimize communication strategies across social media and public relations channels. The role is to enhance the promotion of airport commercial activities, services and brand image, leveraging digital platforms to effectively engage with diverse audiences.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

Social Media

  • Manage social media campaigns and daily activities with the appointed agency.
  • Implement and manage social media programs, including daily posts and updates.
  • Engage in online advocacy, community outreach, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members.
  • Implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase visibility, membership, and traffic.
  • Provide feedback from social media monitoring to relevant departments for action.
  • Ensure consistent digital marketing application on internal and external platforms.

PR & Media

  • Support the Marcomm Manager in PR and media-related tasks.
  • Assist in planning and executing communication plans for major marketing campaigns, including social media and PR.
  • Prepare event briefing materials for top management, including campaign fact sheets, event run-downs, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to promote retailers' brands, products, events, and campaigns.
  • Create or adapt promotional materials for social media and digital distribution.

Internal Communications

  • Liaise with other units to gather and distribute information on pre-outlet and opening announcements.
  • Draft messaging for internal management on announcements and campaign updates.
  • Coordinate with Marketing A&P for retailer promo updates and upload to social media platforms.
  • Support the Manager in managing the Commercial Dashboard and information.

Wayfinding

  • Lead wayfinding exercises for commercial marketing as required, in collaboration with various units.

  • 5 years of experience in senior marketing communications, specializing in social media and public relations in multi-retail outlet environment / marketing events and shopping campaigns.
  • Possess strong business acumen, strategic and creative thinking, able to develop growth strategy, time management and planning skills and able to work under pressure and independently.

  • Degree preferably with specialization in Marketing/ Advertising/ Mass Communications/ Business Management/ Business Admin or equivalent
