As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Identify and pursue new and existing customer opportunities to grow volumes and revenue
Meet or exceed sales targets by actively closing deals
Schedule meetings with potential clients and assess their needs
Negotiate and close deals while addressing concerns or objections
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Provide actionable insights for business improvement and decision-making
Utilize Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs for professional reporting and presentations
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers & potential and existing clients
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales revenue targets
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team
Attend relevant industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and network with potential clients
Requirements
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have' for the role:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
A MUST 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or product management, preferably in cross-border e-commerce
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market research into actionable product strategies
Proven experience in product lifecycle management and product development
Familiarity with logistics routing planning, sales, SLA management, and supplier management
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders
