Senior Executive, Affinity Business Development

AEON Insurance Brokers is seeking a results-driven Senior Executive, Affinity Business Development to play a key role in driving sales growth and managing strong relationships with AEON EW and Merchant partners. This role requires proactive client management, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the execution of sales strategies to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a relationship-oriented professional with a strong focus on driving business growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior leadership to implement sales strategies that achieve business KPIs and objectives. Provide feedback on sales trends and market conditions to help refine strategic initiatives.

Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads within the AEON EW and Merchant partner network to expand the customer base.

Manage day-to-day relationships with AEON EW and Merchant partners, ensuring clients’ needs are met with tailored insurance solutions.

Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of services, meeting client requirements, and maintaining satisfaction.

Track sales performance, monitor KPIs, and report on progress, adjusting tactics as needed to meet targets and maximize results.

Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and product solutions to clients and potential partners.

Represent AEON Insurance Brokers in meetings and events, building relationships with external stakeholders and contributing to the company’s industry presence.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.

BCCITB (Basic Certificate in Takaful Broking) is mandatory.

Additional certifications in insurance or broking are a plus.

Minimum of 1–3 years in business development or sales, with experience in managing partner relationships within the insurance or financial services industry.

Familiarity with B2B sales, client management, and affinity partnerships is highly desirable.

Knowledge of insurance products (life, general, takaful) and the broking process.

Strong ability to build relationships and develop new business opportunities within an affinity partnership model.

Proficient in sales techniques, tools, and performance analysis to help meet KPIs.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure service delivery excellence.
