Senior Executive Account Manager

About the role

Sing Mah Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager/Executive (Full Set) to join our SMM team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cash management, month-end and year-end closings
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate records
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Monthly submission of Profit & Lost Report
• Supervise and train junior accounting staff, if applicable
• Handle Audit and Tax queries , provide information as requested by external auditors.
• Assist in all financial related matters and any ad hoc projects

What we're looking for

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in theManufacturingindustry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
• Proficient in using accounting software (Auto Count) and MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferable Mandarin speaker
