Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Event Manager located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Event Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating events, managing event budgets, liaising with vendors and clients, and ensuring the smooth execution of events. Other day-to-day tasks include overseeing event set-up and tear-down, managing event staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Event planning, coordination, and management skills
• Experience in budgeting, vendor negotiation, and client liaison
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in event management or related fields
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance is beneficial
• Ability to converse in Mandarin and Malay is an advantage
