Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for equipment maintenance and improvements for die attach bonders, wire bonders, welders, ovens, testers, etc.
  2. Lead a team of technicians.
  3. Identify, lead, and implement cost reduction activities.
  4. Prepare and perform new equipment set-up and buy-off.
  5. Ensure proper facilities are available for new equipment set-up.
  6. Liaise with equipment vendors to improve tool capability.
  7. Provide feedback on equipment and material issues, make recommendations, and offer solutions to meet product requirements.
  8. Collaborate with process engineers to prepare and update process documentation and work instructions for assembly line processes and equipment.
  9. Work with the production team to improve yield and UPH, including cost reduction activities.
  10. Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, company policies, regulations, and applicable codes.
  11. Drive continual improvement initiatives.
  12. Practice risk-based thinking in planning and execution of tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's, Professional, or Master's Degree in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer/Telecommunication, or equivalent.
  2. Relevant experience in networking, test processes, or product transfer.
  3. Familiarity with product development processes and successful product releases to production.
  4. Understanding of basic test methodologies and ability to interpret electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
  5. Experience with fiber-optic/laser products is preferred.
