Job summary

Dexcom Malaysia is seeking a Staff Equipment Engineer and SME to lead a team of equipment engineers, drive reliability, and oversee IQ/OQ for new automated equipment in a regulated medical device environment.

You will partner with global teams, optimize automation, IoT, and SCADA (Ignition), mentor staff, and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485 and FDA requirements, while delivering cost-efficient manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
5+ years in equipment engineering with leadership and SME responsibilities.
Hands-on with automated equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience with PLC programming, pneumatics, IoT, and SCADA (Ignition preferred).
Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA requirements is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of equipment engineers and provide technical guidance.
Serve as SME for equipment engineering, driving best practices in automation and SCADA.
Drive reliability, automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
Oversee installation, qualification, and testing of new equipment.
Perform IQ/OQ documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate on IoT integration and Ignition-based monitoring projects.
Lead continuous improvement to boost productivity, yield, and cost efficiency.
Ensure safety and regulatory adherence across manufacturing sites.
