Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking an experienced MOCVD epitaxy engineer to own the growth process and drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with production, process integration, and IT teams to ensure robust operation and data integrity across epitaxy activities.

The role emphasizes DoE, process control, and rapid troubleshooting, with a focus on quality and yield improvement in a high-tech semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in MOCVD epitaxy growth and process optimization.
• Strong data analytics and DOE/ SPC knowledge.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and IATF standards.
• Proficient in statistical tools such as Minitab/JMP.
• Ability to liaise with production and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOCVD epitaxy growth process and achieve key KPIs.
• Define DoE within process window and implement process control.
• Troubleshoot epitaxy equipment and perform in-situ measurements.
• Maintain process documentation and quality records per ISO and IATF.
• Perform data analysis to identify KPIV and support process improvement.
• Design and maintain the data landscape for epitaxy operations.
• Provide IT/Epitaxy system interfaces and troubleshooting guides.
• Lead root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
