Job summary

ams OSRAM in Kulim seeks a senior data specialist to own the epitaxy data landscape and serve as the primary IT interface for epitaxy applications. You will lead complex analyses, generate KPIV/KPOV metrics, and drive continuous improvements in process control.

You will collaborate with production, process integration, and engineering teams to ensure KPI targets are achieved, while maintaining documentation and compliance with ISO 14001/IATF standards.

Qualifications

• PhD/Master/Bachelor required in related field.
• Experience in data science and data landscape integration preferred.
• Ability to lead/participate in projects and work in a team.
• Strong data analysis, IT landscape, wafer fabrication, epitaxy.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data landscape for epitaxy operations and 1st/2nd level troubleshooting guides.
• Serve as primary technical interface to IT system owner for epitaxy applications and systems.
• Conduct complex data analysis to identify KPIV and KPOV monitoring metrics.
• Lead data-driven process improvements and support DOE within process window.
• Coordinate with production, process integration, and engineering teams to ensure KPI targets.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure ISO 14001 and IATF standards are met.
• Lead root-cause analysis using statistical tools and implement preventive actions.
