Job summary

Abbott is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect – Data & Analytics in Malaysia to shape and evolve enterprise data, analytics, and AI capabilities. You will define strategic architecture for data platforms, governance, and analytics solutions to support growth and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud expertise (AWS), and hands-on capabilities in data modeling, governance, and integration across diverse teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Integration Architecture.
• Strong background designing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms.
• Expertise in data integration, ingestion, and harmonization using batch, streaming, and event-driven approaches.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks (Lakehouse, Spark, Delta Lake), dbt.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and MDM.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise data integration architecture and standards.
• Design scalable data integration patterns across systems and platforms.
• Drive alignment between business goals, analytics requirements, and technology solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor on data, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives.
• Lead architecture for the Enterprise Data Platform supporting analytics, AI, and data products.
