Responsible for water and wastewater system operation excellence, maintenance, and sustaining tasks to ensure continuous & uninterrupted supply, legal compliance, and cost-effectiveness to support site core business.
In your new role you will:
- Ensure water and wastewater operation & maintenance meet segment / business needs and local statutory requirements.
- Plan, monitor, and control costs related to water and wastewater system operation and maintenance activities.
- Define operation and maintenance strategies to support business operations and growth.
- Coordinate with various parties for proper planning and execution of operation and maintenance tasks.
- Manage contracts and service providers involved in water and wastewater system operations, including vendor performance reviews and assessments.
- Continuously improve the operation, maintenance, and sustainability of water and wastewater systems.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) or a related field with demonstrated capability.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, services, or engineering.
- Familiarity with water (RO/DI) and wastewater operation & maintenance concepts & requirements for semiconductor manufacturing plants.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater design standards, codes, specifications, permitting processes, and requirements.
- Understanding of other infrastructure systems such as electrical, mechanical, cleanroom, and building automation.
- Knowledge of infrastructure system acceptance & testing, including testing & commissioning, buy-off, and change management.
- Ability to perform risk assessments of processes, equipment, and new designs using FMECA/FMEA.
- Experience with 8D methodology, root cause analysis tools, 7 QC tools, and decision-making processes.
- Certified Environmental Professional in the operation of industrial effluent treatment or sewage treatment (an advantage).
