SHEFFIELD ENERGY LIMITED in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Engineer – Reservoir Engineering to lead reservoir development initiatives and support FDPs. You will apply advanced reservoir simulation, history matching, and production forecasting to optimize field performance.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong reporting and stakeholder management, and fluency in English. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers in a challenging upstream

Qualifications

• Degree/Master's in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of reservoir engineering experience.
• Experience with FDPs, reserves evaluation, and simulation modelling.
• Strong reporting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide reservoir engineering support for FDPs, Area Development Plans, and Full Field Reviews.
• Conduct reservoir simulation, history matching, reserves evaluation, and production forecasting.
• Optimize hydrocarbon recovery, well deliverability, and reservoir management strategies.

Senior Engineer – Reservoir Engineering for a leading upstream Oil & Gas organization in Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

Provide reservoir engineering support for Field Development Plans (FDPs), Area Development Plans, and Full Field Reviews.

Conduct reservoir simulation, history matching, reserves evaluation, and production forecasting.

Optimize hydrocarbon recovery, well deliverability, and reservoir management strategies.

Develop and maintain reservoir models using industry-standard simulation tools.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, joint venture partners, and relevant stakeholders.

Provide technical recommendations, management reports, and mentoring to junior engineers.

About you

Degree/Master's in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering, FDP, reserves evaluation, simulation modelling, and development engineering.

Strong experience with clastic reservoirs and production optimization.

Proficiency in tools such as ECLIPSE, PETREL, PVT, MBAL, Saphir, and PROSPER.

Familiarity with PETRONAS FDP requirements and guidelines.

Excellent technical reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in written and spoken English.
