Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team, focusing on NPI for defined product lines in the semiconductor Back End process. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery and release of robust test programs to production, ensuring final test yield stability, continuous improvement, and smooth ramp-up in alignment with divisional goals.

Job Description

In your new role, you will:

• Deliver test packages for NPI of defined Product Lines.
• Drive final test yield stability and continuous improvement per assigned technology/package.
• Interface with DIV to ensure technical capabilities and stable ramp-up of new products.
• Support and drive BE productivity, ratio projects, and quality initiatives.
• Release robust test programs to production.
• Support FAR data acquisition, yield analysis, and 8D execution.
• Ensure SPO test program readiness and drive ES CT improvements.
• Coordinate with FrontEnd PE, Cluster, & Business units on test/product topics.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

• Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics/Mechatronics/Semiconductor Technology) or relevant engineering discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
• Basic understanding and practical experience in statistical data analysis, probability theory, probability distributions, and descriptive statistics.
• Knowledge of specific test platforms (e.g., RF, Digital, Power, Mixed Signal, Memory).
• Ability to drive and implement ratio improvements (test time, yield & OEE).
• Understanding of test platform roadmap & ATE configuration (for high parallelism or platform migration).
• Ability to independently handle test program buy-off qualification.
• Basic test debugging skills.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
