The Senior Messaging Engineer is responsible for Delivery, Operation Support and Implementation of the Email and Collaboration End-User Technology (EUT) services to SingTel’s internal stakeholders and users. Working together with Workspace Transformation Team and Workspace End-User Support Team to deliver quality IT Workspace End-User technology related services by applying Service Delivery approach to ensure consistent and continuous Endpoint solutions and technologies are successfully deployed to meet the Technology Infrastructure (TI) strategic objectives. He/She should possess strong communication abilities and is able to implement appropriate plans towards achieving those goals. He/She should be able to address multi-faceted issues effectively and in a collaborative manner.
Make an Impact by:
- Responsible for the performance, availability and service level of the assigned IT Workplace services including Desktop/Laptop Standards, Active Directory, Email Services, File and Print Services, Anti-Virus, Full-Disk Encryption, Unified Communications Messaging & Collaboration Tools and management of endpoints.
- Endpoints Security Management including Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for PC/Mobile/Application, delivery of software, OS packages and security thru SCCM or GPO.
- Ensure 24x7 availability of EUT Services infrastructure and systems. Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, resolve the problems when faults are encountered.
- Implement and build IT systems that are managed by IT Workplace for PC/Mobile/Application Standard Operating Environment.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents related to EUT services.
- Work with outsource vendor to provide Level 2 support for incidents/requests related to IT Workplace services.
- Prioritize activities to ensure continuity of service and prompt issue resolution.
- Work with project and Workspace transformation engineering team in the delivery of new IT Workplace services to operations.
- Work with Optus and NCS counterparts for seamless IT Workplace service delivery and support across the 3 entities.
- Analyze performance of IT Workplace services. Identify problem areas, deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.
- Provide input to facilitate the negotiation and renewal of maintenance contracts for systems.
- Review existing processes and security policies for infrastructure and introduce preventative or optimized measures to improve systems quality and resiliency.
Skills For Success:
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 2 – 7 years working experience as a Messaging Engineer or in the relevant field.
- 3 years EUT related experience in a large enterprise (>2000 staff) with multi-location.
- Good knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
- Microsoft Office 365 Product Suite experience in a highly security driven environment, especially Exchange Online (Hybrid), Teams, Sharepoint, End User data management.
- Proven experience in project delivery that spans multiple countries and security domains.
- Strong knowledge on Exchange Hybrid management and EOP.
- Management of Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android clients.
- Good knowledge of Managed printing.
- Working experience of using ServiceNow.
