Senior Engineer Information Technology

Job Description

In your new role you will:

1. Operate and develop our Process Information Management System (PIMS) based on the AVEVA System platform.
2. Collaborate with a dynamic, global team across AP, EU, and US regions.
3. Provide support for over 10 facilities globally, specializing in Incident and Change Management.
4. Act as an in-house consultant for PIMS.
5. Support process and system consolidation.
6. Create solution proposals and blueprints for change requests and project proposals.
7. Manage IT projects across multiple Infineon production sites, primarily focusing on the Asia Pacific region.
8. Deliver internal training sessions.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
2. 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
3. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., VBScript) and SQL.
4. Programming experience in a .NET environment for configuration and programming tasks.
5. Basic knowledge of Windows Server OS.
6. Knowledge of process control systems, SCADA systems, and IoT is advantageous.
7. Experience in IT project management.
8. Understanding of requirements engineering and/or business consulting.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
10. Willingness to work during AP & EU business hours, including on-call support during critical periods.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Good communication skills and proactive teamwork.
13. Fluent in German and English, with confident communication and presentation skills.
