Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Kulim, Malaysia seeks a Senior Engineer Equipment Automation to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications within the Software & Data Science team. You will build intelligent systems that transform data into actionable insights and support cutting-edge semiconductor solutions.

The role requires strong programming skills (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript), experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, and a solid grasp of agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, boards.
• Strong understanding of agile development and Git version control.
• SEC / GEM knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using C#, Java, Python, and Angular.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate manufacturing equipment with shop-floor systems, and release the equipment integration system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using a range of programming languages, including but not limited to C#, Java, Python and Angular Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, including automated testing, deployment, and monitoring Integrate manufacturing equipment to shop-floor system, test and release the equipment integration system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, identifying and implementing fixes as needed.
• Provide On-call support to production critical system.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including C#, Java, Python, and Java Script
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos and Azure Boards

• Strong understanding of SEC /GEM is an added advantage.
