Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, realize and evaluate AlInGaN semiconductor chips, with a focus on high-performance LEDs and device physics.

The role involves developing novel or optimized process flows in collaboration with global teams, solving complex design and process problems, and analysing interactions between chip design and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in physics, optics, electrical engineering, material science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Understanding of wafer fabrication processing techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of Nitride LEDs and device physics.
• Experience with semiconductor frontend processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and creativity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English; German knowledge is a plus.
