Senior Engineer Central Manufacturing System

In your new role, you will:

  1. Evaluate manufacturing processes
  2. Develop automated and manual systems
  3. Test new and existing production procedures
  4. Assess manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, and speed
  5. Study production and machine requirements; develop end-to-end tests based on use cases
  6. Manage manufacturing workflows and integrate stage set configurations into SAP
  7. Organize facility layouts, production lines, and MES attributes into new systems
  8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and quality improvements
  9. Train staff on new and existing processes
  10. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers
  11. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  12. Upgrade systems with new technology

You are best suited for this role if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience with SAP is essential
  • Preferred: wafer fab or semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool design
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CAD, MS Office)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
