Job summary

GoKardz Technologies is seeking a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will support and troubleshoot Security Endpoint solutions and manage configuration and provisioning tasks.

This role demands at least 5 years of networking and network security experience, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Fluent proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.

Senior Endpoint Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot existing Security Endpoint Product Anti-virus, Virtual Patching, Privilege Identity Management, Hardening, DLP Endpoint, Email & Web Protection.
• Provide day-to-day operation support for any Security Endpoint solution request/incident/hands-on/enhancement.
• Responsible for the provisioning, configuration and administrative for any Security Endpoint solution.
• To identify, protect, detect, response, recover for any threat detected across Security Endpoint solution.
• Provide comprehensive Security Endpoint policy based on the best practice and on demand to ensure secured and protected.
• Managing vendor for any tech refresh, exploring new feature, support for any Security Endpoint solution.
• Managing compliance of the security tool update of signature/definition and tool version for servers and PC
• Compile and report status of progress including ensuring up-to-date SOP
• Provide regional support for endpoint security tools including consolidation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and minimum of 5 years of networking related experience such as network design, analysis or network management and minimum of 5 years of experience in network security including design, analysis and IT security network management.
