MYFutureJobs in Ipoh seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager (Electrical/Chargeman) to lead our electrical maintenance operations across facilities and machinery, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with regulations. You will drive preventive, predictive maintenance and energy-saving initiatives while managing budgets and vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a valid Chargeman certificate, and 7–10 years in maintenance with at least 3 years in a leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Chargeman Certificate—A0, A1, A4, B0, B4, or another applicable category—registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• At least 7–10 years of maintenance experience, including a minimum of three years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruptions.
• Develop and execute scheduled, preventive, and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure repairs are completed safely and promptly.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements, upgrades, or capital investments.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement practical energy-saving initiatives.
• Manage the departmental budget, spare-parts inventory, tools, resources, and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with Production, Safety, Quality, and other departments to support operational efficiency.
