Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in medical devices or other high-reliability industries.
• Strong experience in analog and digital design and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience working on complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with regulated environments (ISO 13485, IEC standards such as IEC 60601).
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers, especially PCB design and assembly.
• Experience in manufacturing or operations environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills including root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities for product development and enhancements.
• Collaborate with Malaysia & Boston R&D teams on design, problem solving, and technical direction.
• Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers in the region.
• Support project execution, timelines, and cross-functional alignment.
• Provide technical direction for complex electromechanical systems.
• Design reviews to ensure performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Support verification, validation, and root-cause analysis for issues.
• Drive engineering solutions from concept through production.
• Ensure designs are documented and released per design control and quality systems.
