Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all electrical systems and equipment within the production facility. This role combines technical leadership, project execution, and maintenance optimization to support continuous plant operations while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment in the production system.
• Provide immediate technical support for unexpected electrical failures, working closely with maintenance teams for swift resolution.
• Lead the Electrical & Automation Team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Execution Project for Plant modification & Improvement for Electrical Division.
• Monitor and control Maintenance & Project costs.
• Planning and implement for Preventive Maintenance program to reduce corrective maintenance and enhance plant equipment efficiency.
• Track and analyze electrical materials and spare parts usage.
• Handle ISO Documentation (ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001) for Electrical, Substation and Automation.
• Attend equipment incident review meetings, propose preventive technical measures, and compile incident analysis reports.
• Monitoring, maintenance, & testing of HV equipment.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties or assignments when assigned by Superior / Management.

Job requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• At least 5 or more years experience in Electrical / Power System.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experiences in handling Electrical maintenance and switching.
• Have the knowledge of ISO for 9001, 45001 & 14001.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage (spoken and written).
• Applicants must be willing to work in Samalaju, Bintulu Sarawak.
