Job summary

Bridge Data Centres in Malaysia seeks an experienced EHS Manager to develop, implement, and oversee project-specific EHS policies for large-scale data centre sites. The role leads risk assessments, site inspections, training, and incidents investigations, coordinating with contractors and clients to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

You must hold a Bachelor’s in EHS, 6+ years in construction EHS, be a registered EHS Officer in Malaysia/Singapore, and have knowledge of ISO 14001/45001

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of construction safety/ESM experience, preferably in mission critical facilities or data centres.
• Registered/certified EHS Officer in Malaysia or Singapore.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Malaysia EHS legislation (OSH Act, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce project EHS policies, standards, and procedures.
• Set EHS goals and strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Coordinate with departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to implement EHS provisions.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and enforce corrective controls.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Perform site inspections and safety audits; maintain safety records and reports.
• Lead safety inductions and ongoing training; promote a safety-first culture.
• Investigate incidents and lead corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate EHS into all activities.
