Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced EHS Safety & Health Officer to implement and audit workplace safety, health, environmental, and energy management systems at the Johor facility.

The role ensures compliance with OSHA Malaysia, FMA, and the RBA Code of Conduct. You will lead medical surveillance, regulatory reporting, CePSWaM, and ISO 14001/45001/50001 audits, coordinate with DOSH and DOE, drive energy reduction, and mentor teams on health and safety practices to sustain zero

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related science field.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with a valid DOSH Green Book registration.
• CePSWaM competency certified by EiMAS / DOE Malaysia.
• Certified Internal Auditor status for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
• Formal RBA Lead Auditor or Awareness training is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Occupational Health & Medical Surveillance programs per OSHA USECHH regulations.
• Coordinate with DOSH-registered OHPs for statutory health screenings.
• Maintain confidential medical surveillance records and fitness-for-work certifications.
• Ensure OSHA 1994/FMA 1967 compliance and liaise with DOSH and DOE during audits.
• Lead ISO 14001/45001/50001 internal audits and drive energy reduction initiatives.
• Support CePSWaM management and coordinate waste handling and disposal.
• Oversee RBA compliance and prepare for upcoming assessments.
