Job summary

Texas Instruments in Malaysia seeks an Equipment Engineer to optimize manufacturing equipment, evaluating, installing, upgrading and maintaining devices to ensure high uptime and reliable production. You will support repair and process engineering and define preventative maintenance plans.

The role requires hands-on die-bond/die-attach experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field. TI offers a dynamic, inclusive environment with opportunities across manufacturing areas.

• Minimum of 5 years of die bond or die attach equipment hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
• Studying equipment performance and reliability
• Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
• Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
