Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Die Attach Process Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our manufacturing team. You will own process control, drive quality improvements, and support audits with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality cases, reducing yield loss, and collaborating with Product Development, PI, PO and BT to implement new product/process handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree / Master degree in Engineering / Material or equivalent field.
• More than 5 years experience in die attach process engineering.
• Good in written and oral communication.
• Basic understanding - Statistical analysis, Lean 6 Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in maintaining and improving quality cases, maverick and yield performance.
• Processs owner to govern and improve process control and documentation.
• Direct and indirect material usage consumption and wastage control.
• To support internal audit & customer audit, and response on audit findings.
• Lead and support productivity improvement and capacity extension.
• To work closely with Product Development, PI, PO and BT for new product/process setup and proper process handshake/pass over.
