Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain, optimize, and automate our Linux-based infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. You will manage servers, web services, databases, and deployment pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins, and can collaborate closely with product teams. This on-site role offers growth in a dynamic staffing firm focusing on IT, Digital & Creative sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience managing Linux servers, web servers (Apache/Nginx), and databases in production.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and security best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
