Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Senior Developer for Core Banking. You will lead the QR Management module development using .NET and SQL, and deliver Investment & Wealth platform enhancements within the Core Banking system.

You will collaborate with analysts, architects and QA to ensure requirements are met, participate in code reviews and performance tuning, and support incident resolution. A strong background in .NET, MS-SQL and React JS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• At least 6 years' experience in software development, preferably Core Banking.
• Strong knowledge of Investment & Wealth platforms within banking context.
• Experience with .NET, MS-SQL and React JS in full lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop QR Management modules using .NET and SQL.
• Analyze, design, and implement solutions for Investment & Wealth platforms.
• Collaborate with BAs, architects and QA to meet requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer for Core Banking, you will be responsible for collaborating, engaging, and working closely with stakeholders across the full lifecycle of projects and change requests - from inception, analysis, design, and development through testing, as well as pre- and post-deployment phases. The key objective is to ensure high-quality and seamless delivery of core banking enhancements, in full compliance with mandated frameworks and guidelines. Your work will focus on Core Banking - Investment and Wealth products (i.e., Insurance, Funds, Bonds, Unit Trusts, Structured Deposits, etc.).

• Lead and develop QR Management modules using .NET and SQL .
• Analyze, design, and implement solutions related to Investment & Wealth platforms within the Core Banking system.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure functional and technical requirements are met.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and bug fixes for production issues.
• Ensure all deliverables follow security and compliance standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related Information Technology disciplines; Additional professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous although not mandatory
• At least 6 years' experience in software development, preferably in Core Banking
• Functional and system knowledge on Investment and Wealth product (ie. Insurance, Funds, Bonds, Unit Trust, Structure Deposit & etc)
• Technical knowledge in .NET, MS-SQL, React JS programming
• Experience in design, development, testing, implementation , support and documentation of applications according to change requests and project requirements
• Experience working on Investment & Wealth platforms.
• Comfortable working in Windows and Open Systems environments
