Job summary
A leading geotechnical engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to design and recommend foundation systems. The role involves slope stability analyses, proposing ground improvement methods, and preparing detailed geotechnical reports. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and has at least 3 years of design experience. Proficiency in Geoslope software is preferred.

Overview
- Design and recommend foundation systems, including shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, and other earth-retaining structures.
- Perform slope stability analyses and develop appropriate stabilization measures for embankments, slopes, and excavation sites.
- Propose ground improvement methods, such as soil stabilization, grouting, or compaction, to enhance soil performance and reduce settlement risks.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including site investigation findings, analyses, design recommendations, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical designs into project plans.
- Conduct site visits to assess ground conditions and monitor piling works to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in designs.
