Job summary

A leading chemical company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a professional for demand cycle management. You will collaborate with the Demand Manager to ensure operational efficiency of the Oracle Demantra system. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in supply chain roles, holds a relevant degree, and is fluent in English and Chinese. The role emphasizes teamwork and effective communication across multicultural teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years in material purchasing, production planning, or demand planning required.
• Familiar with chemical materials and supply chain processes.
• Experience operating MRP or ERP systems.

• Collaborate with Demand Manager for demand cycle management.
• Maintain Oracle Demantra system and ensure operational health.
• Responsible for forecast accuracy and demand analysis.

Job description

You will collaborate with the Demand Manager to support automotive SEA business needs through demand cycle management, while ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of the Oracle Demantra system. You will be reporting to Demand Manager, IC Greater China

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Demand Manager to meet automotive SEA business requirements via demand cycle management

• Maintain Oracle Demantra system to health operation normally including new account setup, daily system update, coordinate system problem issue and so on

• Responsible for FCST accuracy and related demand analysis and issue the report

• Coordinate the communication meeting with sales team and supply chain related department

• Lead supply chain related issue such as supply issue, RA and SIOP demand process

• Assist supply chain related department to improve process to meet business requirement

Qualifications

• You are required to have 5 years in material purchasing, production planning, or demand planning within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with communication skills across multicultural teams.

• Familiarity with chemical materials and supply chain processes.

• Experience operating MRP systems or ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Access for data reporting
