Job summary

Great Wall Motor Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a proactive Operations Manager to plan, develop, implement and improve dealer operations processes and guidelines. You will act as the primary liaison between dealers and GWM in operations and ensure adherence to policies, monitoring efficiency and customer service across aftersales, parts, and warranty.

You will lead best practice deployment, conduct dealer operations audits, present monthly reviews, and propose actions to improve service

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Project/Management/Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience; automotive industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel for dealer visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and improve operations process and guidelines to dealers.
• Window person between dealer and GWM in terms of operations.
• Ensure all dealers adhere to the operations process, guidelines and policies.
• Monitor operations efficiency and productivity in terms of process, customer service, spare parts, technical and warranty.
• Lead and guide dealer with the best practices and processes in order to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct audit and analyze dealer operations compliance for improvement action plans.
• Prepare and conduct dealer operations meeting with dealer management on a monthly basis.
• Develop improvement activity towards service efficiency & brand image for Aftersales.
• Actively analyze current market situation and/or competitors’ activities, subsequently make effective proposal for action plans.
• Conduct vendors/suppliers’ selection, proposal and evaluation for any Aftersales related activities.
• Representative on new model launch for Aftersales by developing strategy, plan and assist on new model launch.
• Prepare and analyze Aftersales dealers’ business performance report and propose area of improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Project/ Management/ Engineering or equivalent.
• Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia, we are also seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to better serve our Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with working experience in automotive industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication & negotiation skills.
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Applicants must possess a valid driving license for regular travelling.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
• Full-time position.
