Job summary

Mühlbauer GmbH & Co. KG seeks a Senior Database Administrator with 8+ years of experience to manage and optimize multiple database technologies, including migration to the cloud.

You will focus on performance tuning, troubleshooting, automation and data migrations between on‑premise environments and cloud platforms. The role requires deep backend database expertise, experience across Windows and Linux, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional database experience and strong migration skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL and MSSQL in enterprise settings.
• Experience with on-premise to cloud migrations and DR/HA strategies.
• Proficient scripting in PowerShell or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administering and optimizing database systems on Windows and Linux.
• Installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and patching databases.
• Deploying and troubleshooting high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Analyzing backups and recovery plans and improving automation.
