Job summary

Sunway Fintech is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to develop and evaluate quantitative credit scoring models and advanced analytics solutions. You will manage the full model lifecycle—from data extraction to deployment—while translating analytical findings for stakeholders.

The role requires 4–6 years in risk analytics or credit insight, strong Python/SQL/SAS skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in Bandar Sunway, Malaysia. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science etc.).
• 4–6 years in risk analytics, data analytics or credit insight.
• Strong Python/SQL/SAS for data analysis and processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and implement credit scoring models and analytics solutions.
• Apply statistical methods and ML techniques to drive risk strategy.
• Manage full model lifecycle: data prep, modelling, validation, deployment and docs.
• Perform data cleaning and processing for robust analytics.
