Job summary

Informa TechTarget in Penang, based at Menara Skymind, is seeking a highly numerate data modeller to join our centralized Advanced Analytics team. You will manage production and timely delivery of analytical insights and market predictions for the Telecoms, Media and Technology sectors.

The role requires model building, presenting to senior executives, and delivering bespoke client projects. You will collaborate with research, product, technology and operations teams and contribute to developing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in statistical methodologies including regression analysis, time series forecasting and econometric modelling.
• Experience handling large datasets and ensuring data quality in a research setting.
• Strong requirements gathering, workflow design and stakeholder communication.
• Hands-on programming with Python or R and end-to-end analytics workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years of analytical experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the TMT industry and related market dynamics.
• Experience presenting to external clients and at industry events.
• Experience supervising others or leading small project teams.

• Design, build and maintain robust data models and predictive solutions.
• Deliver analytics and market predictions for research and consulting projects.
