Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking a senior data governance and privacy professional to drive adoption of the Data Governance Framework across the organization. You will work with Head of IT to implement policies, standards, and procedures, and to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.

You will lead data ownership, stewardship, data quality initiatives, and privacy by design in projects, providing guidance to business and technology teams, and reporting governance metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related discipline.
• Certifications in data governance, privacy, or risk management are an advantage.
• 8–10 years of experience in data governance, data management, privacy, or regulatory compliance within regulated environments.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance and privacy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Data Governance and Privacy framework, including policies, standards, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Define and operationalise the data governance operating model and coordinate governance meetings.
• Drive data quality management and maintain enterprise data inventory, data catalog and data dictionary.
• Oversee privacy compliance activities including DPIAs and advisory support to teams.
• Deliver governance dashboards, metrics and reports to senior management and conduct regulatory reviews.
