Job summary

cbs Malaysia, the Malaysian subsidiary of cbs, is seeking a Senior Consultant (Snowflake) to architect and implement data architectures using Snowflake and Databricks, including ETL/ELT and data modeling.

You will lead discovery sessions, optimize performance, and develop robust pipelines with PySpark, SQL, and dbt, leveraging Unity Catalog and Snowpark for governance and extensibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with at least 2 years in a client-facing consulting role.
• Strong communication to translate technical issues into business value.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end data architectures using Snowflake and Databricks.
• Lead discovery sessions and provide migration strategy recommendations.
• Audit environments to improve query performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop data pipelines with PySpark, SQL, and dbt; implement governance with Unity Catalog and Snowpark.
• Mentor junior engineers on CI/CD, data quality, and DevOps practices.
