Job summary

We+ Asia is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Malaysia to join the big data team. You will design, build and optimise data pipelines, models, and dashboards, leveraging AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, RDS and Aurora.

You will also produce MIS reports and BI dashboards using SAP and Power BI for informed business decisions. You will collaborate with Solution Architects to shape pipelines, translate requirements, and ensure data quality across sources while delivering robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data integration and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Discuss with Solution Architect on designing data pipelines.
• Develop data pipelines with proposed solution.
• Manage and maintain data pipelines.
• Create and maintain data models with ER diagrams.
• Design database schemas optimizing storage and performance.
• Communicate with stakeholders and understand reporting needs.
• Deliver timely and accurate reports and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop/Enhance SAP reports and dashboards.
• Fix bugs and deploy changes into GitHub.
• Document data pipelines, models, and BAU challenges.
