Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build secure cloud foundations for data pipelines and AI workloads. You will own infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring and access controls while collaborating with data, ML and client network teams.

You will enable pipelines for data, model serving, inference and GPU workloads, design cloud networking, and implement identity and access management with federations and secrets.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience in DevOps/cloud/platform engineering.
• Hands-on with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with data/AI platform infra and model serving.

Responsibilities

• Build and run secure cloud infrastructure for data and AI platforms using IaC across PoC to production.
• Enable platforms for data pipelines, model serving, inference and AI agent hosting (GPU workloads).
• Partner with client network teams to design cloud networking, private connectivity, DNS and firewall controls.
• Implement IAM including least-privilege policies, federation and secrets management.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release workflows for applications, data pipelines and ML models.
• Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting and incident response.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize reliability, scalability, performance and cost.
• Produce architecture documentation, run reviews and knowledge transfer with delivery teams.
