Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for the Data Compute Platform, based onsite in Petaling Jaya. You will own the multi-tenant Kubernetes platform (EKS) and drive reliability, cost-efficiency, and security across AWS and Kubernetes foundations.

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms.
Proficiency with containerized compute engines and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
Ability to drive cost-efficiency, reliability, and platform observability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform (EKS).
Develop Kubernetes operators and custom resources to automate compute engine lifecycles.
Lead IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitLab) for AWS estate, ensuring safe, automated changes.
Define and implement identity, access, and security across AWS IAM and Kubernetes RBAC.
Build observability, alerting, capacity planning, and incident tooling for the platform.
Own compute cost efficiency: sizing, spot usage, bin-packing, and tenant billing.
