Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution and delivery of complex data centre projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across design, engineering, procurement, construction and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in hyperscale or enterprise data centre environments, strong governance, client management and risk control, with PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• 10+ years of project delivery experience in construction, engineering, or mission-critical environments.
• Experience delivering large-scale data centre projects (typically $10–$100M).
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across multiple data centre projects or programmes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery, overseeing scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Act as primary senior point of contact for clients and executives.
• Monitor financial performance, negotiate contracts, and manage commercial risk.
• Champion health, safety and regulatory compliance within projects.
• Mentor project managers and engineering leads to build high-performing teams.
